Gallery – First Class

Here are some photos of some of the things Ms Quinn’s class have been getting up to this term: The first few photos show the class enjoying the butter they made with crackers. Next we have the class having quiet time in the library, reading some of their favourite books. And finally we have the class dressed up as their favourite characters for World Book Day.

Ms. Brennan’s class went green for St. Patrick’s Day and made patterned shamrock art
Ms. Brennan’s class read LOADS of books for our Readathon, and had great fun on World Book Day! They also learned all about the farm, and made fabulous paintings of pigs!
Ms Hayes class loved taking part in world book day. It was wonderful to see all the students dressing up as their favourite characters!
First class watched the production ‘Bake’ performed by Draíocht. They even got the chance to help the bakers daughter bake a special cake for the Prince’s birthday! It was great fun!

Ms Hayes’ class did dancing this month in PE. The boys and girls thoroughly enjoyed learning new dances like the Macarena, witch doctor and the cha cha slide. They even teamed up with Ms Sweeneys 2nd class to show off our new moves!

The first class elves in Ms. Brennan’s class have been busy preparing for Christmas!

Ms Hayes’ class love visiting our schools wonderful library every Wednesday. The boys and girls have also started writing their own stories in class! 📚
Ms Brennan’s class learned about the myth of the Children of Lír and they made drawings. They had lots of fun getting ready for the Late Late Toyshow! They are very busy making 3D houses!
During science week, Ms Quinn’s class had lots of fun making rainbow playdough and experimenting with skittles and water.

Ms Hayes’ class had a great time dressing up in their Halloween costumes, very spooky! 🎃
Ms. Brennan’s class were very scary for Hallowe’en! What amazing costumes they had! The children also made some cool Hallowe’en artwork!

Ms. Brennan’s class are enjoying reading books in our beautiful library!
Ms Hayes’ class had a great time participating in Maths week. They created amazing Maths Eyes posters! They worked with beebots and had lots of fun playing card and domino number games.
Ms Brennan’s class made some Autumn Scarecrows! They learned about the horizon line. They used paint, markers, pastels, buttons and glitter.
Ms O Donoghue’s class did some lovely Autumn scarecrow art.
