The children in Ms. Reilly’s class enjoyed the workshop with illustrator Margaret Anne Suggs. They all made a great effort with their costumes for World Book Day.

BhĂ an-spraoi again i rang Ms. R Walsh! Go raibh mĂle maith agat to Grace’s mum Audrey for our Irish Dancing workshop during Seachtain na Gaeilge last week. Bhain muid taitneamh as!! We really enjoyed it!!
Book Week was very busy in Ms. R Walsh’s class. We really enjoyed our workshop with author Anne Suggs. She read us her story The Dandelion’s Tale and we made our own dandelions! Check out our amazing outfits on World Book Day. Can you figure out what characters we all dressed up as?
In December, Ms S Walsh’s 1st class enjoyed decorating a Christmas cookie and making Snow Globe Christmas decorations with our photos inside! More recently in January & February, we have been learning about using Base 10 blocks to represent bigger numbers.
January and February in Ms. Considine’s class have been very busy! We learnt all about Mexico and did some Day of the Dead art. We learnt lots about farming and were inspired to create these wonderful pigs using watercolours. We have been doing lots of dancing including the Macarena, cha cha slide and our very own dances we came up with in groups!
November has been a busy month in Ms. S Walsh’s 1st class. For Science Week we did an experiment to make cloud dough by mixing corn flour and conditioner. We have been learning about Place Value in Maths and using concrete materials to show this. We have also enjoyed making some Winter/Christmas themed art to decorate our room and hallway for the Christmas fair!
October in Ms. Considine’s: We enjoyed dressing up for Halloween and creating beautiful pumpkin art!
Happy Halloween from Ms. R Walsh’s Class. Things got very spooky!! We really enjoyed our pumpkin investigations and even used witches as targets in PE!
