Parents’ Association
The role of the Parents’ Association is to partner with the school and to support parents in order to enrich and improve every child’s experience in St. Mochta’s National School. The Parents’ Association is governed by the Parents’ Association Constitution.
As soon as a child starts school their parent/guardian automatically becomes a member of the Parents’ Association (PA).
The PA committee is made up of parents/guardians elected at the Annual General Meeting, usually held during the first term of school. The PA Committee advise the Principal and Board on any matter affecting the school and adopt a program of activities that will promote the involvement of parents.
We always love to welcome new members to the PA Committee, if you would like to join please email: parentsassociation@stmochtas.ie
Volunteers
The PA organise a number of events throughout the year with the help of parent/guardian volunteers. If you would like to join the Parents’ Association list of volunteers please email your details to: parentsassociation@stmochtas.ie.
