In January Ms Kane’s class was learning all about penguins. We painted a nice background and then drew and cut out a penguin to stick on top of it. We also learned about different types of houses and used pastels to make our own colourful streets.
Ms Kane’s class was learning about procedural writing in November and December. We followed a recipe to make some funny face biscuits. We enjoyed eating them. We coloured some Christmas table cloths for our tables. We were very excited when Santa came to visit our class.
In November Ms Kane’s class were learning all about the number 7 and during Science week we were learning all about our senses and we had fun using the big magnifying glasses. We planted some spring bulbs and we can’t wait to see when they start to grow and flower in springtime.
This November, Ms. McLaughlin’s class was busy with lots of exciting activities! We explored procedural writing and followed our own recipes to decorate delicious biscuits. We also enjoyed some gardening and took part in Science Week, where we invited 4th Class to teach us how to use the Beebots. We also investigated the sense of touch through a fun ‘What’s in the Box?’ experiment. We also had great fun exploring the café during roleplay!
In Ms O’Dowd’s Senior Infant class, we explored the theme of the School. DUring playtime, we had so much fun in construction, art, role play and playdough. We were very busy learning about 2D shapes in Maths this month. Have a look at some of the activities we got up to!
