Ms Toland’s class had great fun on sport’s day! They also enjoyed some ice cream and slushies in the sun on Monday! Delicious

Ms. Grady’s class had a great time visiting Red Mountain Farm on their school tour. We brought in our favourite teddies for a teddy bear picnic in the sun. We had the best day! Look at some of our pictures from the school sports day too.

A very busy month in Ms. Grady’s class. The children have loved listening to all their favourite fairytale stories and performing in their own puppet shows. We even got to make our own puppets!! Here are some pictures from lá glas and our Easter egg hunt.

The vets were very busy in Ms. Grady’s room taking care of all of the sick pets.

Ms. McWilliams class have had lots of fun learning about Africa, the animals that live there and visiting an African market.

Ms. Grady’s class loved exploring and learning all about Africa. We also got to celebrate Grandparents Day and bring someone special into our classroom to meet all of our friends and show them all of our lovely work!

Ms. McWilliams’ class have enjoyed completing lots of Christmas activities in class. The children enjoyed working in Santa’s workshop during Aistear too!
We had some delicious hot chocolates with marshmallows on Christmas jumper day too!

The children in Ms. Grady’s classroom are busy working hard in Santa’s Workshop!! There is great excitement in the classroom. We even earned enough dojo points to have a hot chocolate party!!

The children in Ms Toland’s class have been doing some lovely Christmas art, making a Christmas tree scene, some clay decorations and building some Christmas houses!

In November Ms. McWilliams class had lots of fun at the Doctors surgery during Aistear roleplay. During science week 6th class joined us in our classroom and showed us how to programme the Bee-Bots. We also completed different experiments in each of the junior infant classrooms during science week. We completed some art projects too. A favourite was splatter painting in the style of Jackson Pollock!

This month Ms Toland’s class had lots of fun during science week doing experiments. We also did some Jackson Pollock splash paint art which the children loved. In our role play corner we pretended we were in the doctors and had lots of fun!

The children really enjoyed taking on the role as the doctor and nurse in Ms. Grady’s room. We had lots of fun during science week. Take a look at our lovely winter art!

Ms Toland’s class dressed up for Halloween!

Ms. McWilliams class have had a busy October doing Autumn and Halloween themed arts and crafts. We have had lots of fun at The farm in Aistear too. We also went on an autumn walk around the outdoor areas in our school and we have started GAA on Fridays with our coach from Castleknock GAA club.

This month Ms Toland’s class learned lots about Autumn. We went on a nature walk, found some autumn leaves and also made some clay hedgehogs. We are also starting to practice writing some letters in fun ways – using shaving foam and rice!

Ms. Grady’s class really enjoyed exploring the theme of ‘The Farm’ in Aistear.
We loved practicing our letter formation using different activities like shaving foam, lentils, sand and paint bags. We enjoyed a nature walk around the school collecting Autumn leaves.

Ms. McWilliams’ class has settled into Junior Infants really well. We have enjoyed story time in the library, completed some lovely self portraits and had lots of fun during Aistear.

Ms. Grady’s Junior Infant class have settled into school life. They are enjoying all the new fun activities during Aistear. Here is a picture of our lovely self portraits we painted during art.

This month Ms. Toland’s class had lots of fun with our Aistear activities. We did really well rotating groups each day and got to do lots of different activities such as playing in our home corner, building houses with blocks and Lego and playing with sand.
We also completed some lovely self portraits in art!
